Saturn, for me, tends to be a good sign.Either you find yourself in a "bottleneck" situation at your current job or are motivated to put in the long hours at whatever it is that you are doing.
You could also find yourself willing to be self-employed, employed to higher responsibilities or assuming a more "public" role. Your status could also change.
Saturn aspecting my Asc(and therefore the angles),Sun, Moon and natal Saturn by opposition, square and conjunction tends to have this effect.
Transiting planets hitting Saturn usually bring about periodic adjustment(for so long as the transit lasts) as well as more self-reliance.
For the outer planets like Neptune, Uranus and Pluto aspecting natal Saturn, your perception of what you are capable of, can achieve or the area of competence- will come under review.
For a long time, you will be looking into re-defining Saturn's area; either to dissolve those perceptions(Neptune to Saturn), radically change deeply entrenched beliefs (conjunction with Uranus)or start to create your own reality (Pluto with Saturn).
You will have an inner drive and inner reserve to get back on track and, if not, you'll feel like someone is always looking over your shoulder-appraising your worth- and making you feel that you have to prove your competence. You may find that, those who are in authority will start noticing you and its more difficult to stay incognito.
Saturn's work however could, for a very long time, seem like a "thankless", mundane, hard work. But the rewards are often long-tern; especially when you feel that you are on the right track.
